Batik & Dye Paints - Make a Lampshade - Sat 2nd May 9.30 - 5pm

Using local natural beeswax as a resist and natural plant dye paints on fabric we will learn many skills and techniques in batik - creating a piece of art which will become our lampshades!

The ultimate focus of the day will be in creating art work. With this in mind, please bring along your own inspirational elements to refer to whilst immersing yourself for the day in the enjoyable world of batik.

All fittings for lampshade will be provided and instructions on how to create it at home if you run out of time/your piece still needs to dry before assembling!
